Nikon Wireless Transmitter Utility
Application Software Download Free Windows
It’s become common for camera manufacturers to include WiFi capabilities, but until recently Nikon didn’t have its own utility for transferring images/movies wirelessly to a computer. Now with Airnef, users can finally get the functionality they need to connect their camera with a desktop.
This new app enables Nikon cameras to connect with PCs using either wired or wireless LANs and it also lets you adjust network settings for the UT-1 communication unit and the WT-7, WT-6, WT-5, and WT-4 wireless transmitters. The program provides you with an intuitive wizard that will help you create a connection or load an existing one. Additionally, it enables you to add and edit profiles, setup the picture folder or even change the camera password.
Another great feature is the ability to send photos and videos via e-mail, allowing you to share them hassle-free without the need to access your camera. You can also transfer pictures to social networking sites such as Facebook, Google+, and Twitter with the same ease. In addition, the app allows you to use an iOS device as a remote controller for the camera.
The software can be downloaded for free from the Nikon website, though you will need to agree to an end user license agreement before downloading. Once you do, the app will automatically appear on your device after a short time. You can also find more detailed information and instructions in the app’s online help.
